Our Bilingual Section is open to children who are fluent in English, either from English speaking backgrounds or who have come back from overseas English speaking countries.
​
We aim to build a bubble where all interactions are exclusively done in English and to try and maintain the keep up of the British curriculm as best as possible. We follow the British Curriculm guidelines for all our classes.

As always at My Happy Little School, our classes are engaging and hands on.
We are delighted to have two hour slots enbaling us to have time to also work on - depending on age- phonics, reading, writing, comprehension and more. We explore all subjects with enthousiasm, enjoyment and creativity: English, Maths, Science, History, ...
​
Our wish is to maintain, enhance and develop your child's English, which can be so difficult when not living in an English speaking country. Age appropriate homework is given at home to reinforce learning.

In the family atmosphere of My Happy Litte School, this also gives parents the chance to socialize and plan play dates with English speaking friends!

OUR PROGRAMS

NURSERY
3 - 5 YO
Our Nursery class is held on Wednesdays from 11:30am - 01:30pm. Time for snack is enjoyed to keep the spirits up. We work with Jolly Phonics, Letterland and other award winning phonic programs to help learn and progess with phonics, reading and writing.
Our Nursery program is extremely hands on where we embrace the use of fine and gross motor skills too.

In a constant mindset to keep a link between our school and home, we create whatsapp groups for each class and send you photos, videos and what we have been up to on these groups.
Parent-Teacher meetings are proposed mid year, phonecalls and more informal discussions are proposed whenever needed aswell.
